
UCLA won the Big Ten tournament championship by defeating Oregon 3-2 in 11 innings. The Bruins rallied after trailing 2-1 in the ninth with two outs, when Aidan Espinoza tied the game with a single. The game went to extra innings after UCLA failed to score again in the ninth. In the bottom of the 11th, an official review determined Roman Martin was safe at third base, and UCLA loaded the bases. Oregon’s closer struck out Cashel Dugger and Espinoza, then a pitch resulted in Phoenix Call being ruled hit by the ball after a review. UCLA scored the winning run and celebrated its first Big Ten tournament title. Will Gasparino was ejected in the fourth inning and will miss the NCAA regional opener.
