Ryan Bourque has been appointed as an assistant coach for the Providence Bruins, joining Ryan Mougenel’s staff. He has extensive experience in the AHL, playing 585 games and contributing 85 goals and 203 points. Bourque was a third-round draft pick by the New York Rangers in 2009 and also played one NHL game during the 2014-15 season. He has coaching experience with the U.S. National Team Development Program and the South Carolina Stingrays. Recently, he was the head coach at Cushing Academy in Ashburnham.
