'SNL' hasn't formally apologized to Aimee Lou Wood for controversial 'White Lotus' parody: report
Briefly

Aimee Lou Wood has criticized "Saturday Night Live" for mocking her teeth in a sketch parodying "The White Lotus," calling it "mean and unfunny". Despite claiming to receive private apologies, sources indicate that no official apology has been issued. Insiders suggest SNL doesn’t feel the need to apologize since they often parody appearances. Wood insists the skit should have been executed more thoughtfully and expressed support for the comedian who performed it, showing it’s possible to appreciate humor while critiquing the content.
I actually love being taken the piss out of when it's clever and in good spirits. I don't mind caricature - I understand that's what 'SNL' is.
I've had apologies from SNL. But the rest of the skit was punching up and I/Chelsea was the only one punched down on.
