"PLYMOUTH - Whether the Bruins can survive in the ultra-competitive Atlantic Division this season is a wide open question, though one most observers would answer in the negative. But a legitimate reason for optimism is the real possibility that they should get a much better contribution from the pair of Lindholms in their employ than they did last year. The Lindholms - the no-relation Elias and Hampus - are both healthy."
""It was a good way to finish for me," said the centerman. "Obviously, I got put in position to play with those two and had some good chemistry. It was pretty easy for me to go in there and play. It was good for me and a boost. It carried over a little bit to the (World Championships). So I'm coming in here with some pretty good confidence so hopefully we can do something good this year.""
Both Elias and Hampus Lindholm are healthy entering the 2025-26 season after injuries limited their impact last year. Elias missed much of training camp with a back injury but still played all 82 games, finishing with 17-30-47; he produced 6-9-15 in the final 16 games while skating primarily with David Pastrnak and Morgan Geekie. Hampus suffered a season-ending broken kneecap on Nov. 12 of last year and is now recovered. Both players attended the Bruins Foundation annual tournament and expressed optimism. New coach Marco Sturm indicated there will be trial and error with his roster management.
