Karly and I represented Blue Seat Blogs at the Band of Parents Play Like A Pro Charity Game at Madison Square Garden, supporting neuroblastoma research. This rare childhood cancer, affecting 700 children annually, has seen survival rates increase from 5% in the 1980s to over 50% today, thanks to over $14 million raised in partnership with organizations like Garden of Dreams and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. The games honor Talia Castellano, a young fighter who lost her battle with the disease. Blue Seat Blogs also donated $500 to support continued research efforts.

A 50% survival rate for neuroblastoma is far too low for the 700 children diagnosed every year, but the goal is to continually increase that rate.
