"While the troopers were standing near the vehicle, a 2007 Chevy Suburban rear-ended the patrol car, officials said. The impact pushed the patrol car into the Mercedes, which then struck one of the troopers, police said."

Police said the driver of the Suburban, identified as 24-year-old Kevin Ariel Cunache Moyolema of Connecticut, was also taken to Westchester Medical Center to be evaluated for minor body pain."
A traffic stop on the New York State Thruway in Mamaroneck, Westchester County, resulted in injuries to a state trooper early Sunday morning. Two troopers had pulled over a 2025 Mercedes sedan on the right shoulder. While standing near the vehicle, a 2007 Chevy Suburban rear-ended the patrol car, pushing it into the Mercedes and striking one trooper. The injured trooper was transported to Westchester Medical Center with minor injuries and released. The Suburban driver, 24-year-old Kevin Ariel Cunache Moyolema of Connecticut, was also taken to the hospital for evaluation of minor body pain. The Mercedes driver declined hospitalization. The second trooper was unharmed, and the investigation remains ongoing.
