South Station fare gates returned to service after shutdown caused by a statewide snowstorm that dropped 16 to 23 inches across parts of Boston between Jan. 25 and 26. The gates were inspected and turned on again after over a week of closure. Staff from vendor Scheidt & Bachmann will resume final testing and commissioning for the gates.
