Mike Yastrzemski added a leadoff homer in the fourth, and Riley doubled in the fifth before scoring on Dominic Smith’s single to make it 7-0. Reynaldo López added two scoreless innings, and Tyler Kinley allowed Boston’s lone run in the ninth. A brief rain delay occurred in the sixth, and Carlos Narváez was removed due to finger pain.
