Two suspects wearing ski masks stabbed a male victim in East Boston near the Maverick T stop after he refused to hand over his personal belongings and scooter. The victim attempted to flee toward Sumner Street following the attack. A witness intervened by removing a knife from one suspect and discarding it, while another witness observed the suspects making jabbing motions toward the victim. The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was hospitalized. Police recovered two knives wrapped in duct tape, a cellphone, and a ski mask near the scene. A 15-year-old suspect was arrested after returning to the area claiming to search for his cellphone. The teen faces charges of aggravated assault and armed and masked robbery in juvenile court.
