Colorful milk snake found on the loose in the South End

A beautiful milk snake was found loose in Boston’s South End and is staying at MSPCA-Angell’s Boston Adoption Center. MSPCA-Angell is first trying to locate the snake’s rightful owner. If no owner is found, the non-venomous reptile will be made available for adoption. MSPCA-Angell notes that milk snakes have specific husbandry needs. The organization also states that milk snakes are notorious escape artists, so prospective adopters should research before adopting.

"A "beautiful" milk snake was recently found on the loose in Boston's South End, and now the "unusual visitor" is staying at MSPCA-Angell's Boston Adoption Center, the organization shared on Facebook Tuesday."

"MSPCA-Angell is first looking to find its rightful owner, but if that fails, the non-venomous reptile will go up for adoption."
