Rookies will report to Warrior Ice Arena on Tuesday for two days of practice before traveling to Buffalo for the annual Prospects Challenge. The schedule includes two practices with media availability, travel to Buffalo, and games against the Pittsburgh Penguins and New Jersey Devils on Sept. 12 and Sept. 14, with a practice day in Buffalo on Sept. 13. Fraser Minten is expected to make a strong run for a Boston roster spot after being acquired from Toronto. Other notable prospects include Dans Locmelis and defenseman Loke Johansson. The released roster lists forwards, defensemen and goaltenders, with several invitees.
