A grave situation: Medway police seek return of 12-foot-tall skeleton's head
"We're not joking ... and we're definitely not okay. Our beloved Kevin is currently beside himself - literally - as his head has gone missing."
"If you've seen a large skeleton head wandering around (you'll know it when you see it), please let us know. All jokes aside, we'd really appreciate any help getting Kevin back to his full self."
"We've checked all over the property and still no luck. It's pretty heavy too, so it's not something that could've gone far easily."
Kevin Skellington, a 12-foot-tall plastic skeleton stationed at Choate Park since September 2023, had his head stolen over the weekend from behind the Medway Recreation Center. The skeleton, dressed in themed costumes for holidays, is now missing his head. Medway Parks and Recreation and Police departments are investigating the disappearance as larceny. Security camera footage is being reviewed. The head is described as heavy and unlikely to have blown away despite Monday's high winds. Police are requesting public assistance in locating the missing head and reuniting it with Kevin's body.
