Cory Doctorow, serving as an A.D. White Professor-at-Large, will visit the Ithaca campus Sept. 12–18 and then the Cornell Tech campus on Roosevelt Island on Sept. 19. Doctorow will deliver a keynote lecture on Sept. 12 at 3 p.m. in Hollis E. Cornell Auditorium with a livestream available via eCornell. Two other A.D. White professors, Lynn Meskell (Sept. 22–26) and James Balog (Oct. 27–31), will make second visits to Ithaca. Tayari Jones (Sept. 18–20) and Louis Massiah (Sept. 18–21) will make mini-visits for Toni Morrison’s 70th-anniversary celebrations. Program leadership emphasized interdisciplinary breadth and engagement with campus and community partners. Doctorow’s six-year term ends in 2030 and his recent work includes The Bezzle (2024).
