Tsuro has been a mainstay in my game collection since 2014, cherished for its engaging gameplay that accommodates 2-8 players. Players lay path tiles on a shared board, leading to tactical decisions that require careful planning to avoid elimination. It's an ideal filler game, playable within thirty minutes and versatile enough to fit in various game settings while maintaining player engagement. Despite its player elimination mechanic, fast gameplay and the likelihood of multiple players being knocked out in rapid succession mitigate the frustration typically associated with this feature.
“The worst thing about the game tends to be offset by fast play. Plus, the fact that you won't be the only player knocked out...softens the blow.”
“Tsuro is what many would consider a filler; it's the kind of game that fits perfectly in the starter game slot or in between two bigger games.”
