
The Goblin Storm Commander Secret Lair features goblin-themed cards with new original art by Dakota Cates, along with some reprints using updated and older artwork. The set costs $150 and appealed to fans of unusual goblins, but it sold out in 34 minutes. Sales were constrained by a one-deck-per-person limit and a virtual purchasing queue, yet many buyers reported being unable to complete purchases even after waiting in the queue. Dakota Cates stated he also could not buy a deck because it sold out while it was in his cart. Scalpers still obtained decks and began reselling them on eBay for extremely high prices, including a reported $999 sale.
