Draven's Spinning Axe can be played as an instant Reaction to grant +3 and pairs with Draven, Glorious Executioner, for card draw on combat wins. The set adds Gold, a token gear that can be killed to substitute a rune recycling cost, accelerating access to runes and providing ramp. New Legends like Renata Glasc, Chem Baroness can generate Gold when exhausted and let Gold cover two rune costs late game. Repeat spells can be doubled by paying their cost twice, synergizing with Gold and the rune system to enable chain casting and explosive turns.
