Reggie Games funded and delivered Primal: The Awakening plus five expansions, then produced nine new expansions and is reprinting the base game and originals. A new webstore opened November 17, 2025, with Primal content available for preorder during Primal Friday 2025. The nine expansions fall into four categories: the Heart of the Wild character pack with two hunters (Zaraya and Drusk), five Biome playmats adding arena effects, two card organizers for sleeved cards, and Nightmare Expansion 2 adding nightmare-mode cards for previously untreated monsters. Preproduction copies were provided and the expansions are generally high-quality and worthwhile depending on player goals.
