Kelechi Ezihie, a Long Island man who began golfing just two years ago, is attempting to set a Guinness World Record for consecutive hours playing golf. He started at the Huntington Crescent Club with the goal of playing nonstop for 24 hours but learned he must extend his play to 40 hours due to a challenging competitor's record. Driven by his passion for the sport and a mission to diversify golf, Ezihie is also raising awareness and funds for his nonprofit while enjoying support from friends throughout his marathon effort.
"I feel great. This is for a good cause, so I feel great. This is a test to my energy to see how far I can go."
"My friends are here to keep me going. I just think about enjoying myself, enjoy every single swing."
