"If you've ever tried to surf wheels in a fast Zwift race or hang onto a group ride without blowing up, you know the struggle: The wider the bar, the better your draft. Plus, it works everywhere: flat pack racing, pace partner sessions, and holding a wheel on a climb. It's simple, intuitive, and something racers will lean on immediately."
"Training Score combines intensity, duration, and frequency into a single number. Training Status slots you into one of the following zones: Ready, Fresh, Productive, Overreaching, or Detraining. All built to help you understand when to push and when to back off, not a bad thing, especially with the feast and famine rides over the holidays. For the even more data-hungry, Zwift tracks your one-year personal bests for 5-second, 1-minute, 5-minute, and 20-minute power, as well as your FTP, Race Score, and performance pacing metrics."
Zwift added two feature updates to enhance indoor training. A new Draft Indicator displays a visual bar showing how much aerodynamic shelter a rider receives from the rider ahead, working in pack races, pace partner sessions, and climbs. A redesigned Ride Report offers post-ride analytics including weekly goal progression, training score, training status, streak totals, career level, XP gains, and upgrade progress. Training Score merges intensity, duration, and frequency; Training Status categorizes readiness from Ready to Detraining. Zwift also records one-year personal bests for multiple power durations plus FTP, Race Score, and pacing metrics.
