'You don't know if you don't try' - Onley and Fisher-Black get burned trying to follow Pogacar's 'lethal' acceleration at UAE Tour
Briefly

During the UAE Tour's final stage, riders Oscar Onley and Finn Fisher-Black attempted to match Tadej Pogačar's powerful acceleration but faced significant exhaustion as they couldn't sustain the pace. While Onley nearly kept up initially, he ultimately had to rest afterward due to the intense effort and high temperatures. Fisher-Black acknowledged Pogačar's superior performance level, expressing a mix of pain and resignation as he reverted to his own pace to finish the race, noting the challenge of competing against such a strong rider in difficult conditions.
I knew it was just about suffering and in the beginning it felt quite good, the first ten minutes. I even tried to follow Tadej when he went but I think I found out straight away that he's on another level.
Hid acceleration is always lethal but then I saw he settled down and for the next five minutes, he wasn't too far in front. I was thinking I could maybe come back to Onley and Ciccone.
