"Who'd a thunk we'd see the day when "race gravel bike" and "2.25 tires" were used in the same sentence, but here we are."
"It's what they term "modern gravel space ship" design-because apparently regular terrestrial bikes just don't cut it."
"About the only thing it doesn't have is routing for mechanical drivetrains - the electronic-only, 1x drivetrain compatibility reflects current market trends (for racers, anyway)."
"Available now for pre-order in a "Marbled Green" finish, and made in Taiwan like their Dark Stars and Mean Jeans models, it's a more affordable option than their US-made options. MSRP is $3,330 for the frameset, including their Waypoint carbon fork. Delivery is scheduled for June 2026."
The Wilde Heighliner is a titanium gravel race frameset engineered to fit oversized 29 x 2.25" tires while retaining race-oriented geometry. The frameset uses double-butted titanium tubes, full internal cable routing, a T47 bottom bracket, and UDH compatibility. The design includes three pack mounts under the downtube and a top tube feedbag mount. The frame omits routing for mechanical drivetrains, instead supporting electronic-only 1x setups. The Heighliner ships with the Waypoint carbon fork, is made in Taiwan, is available for pre-order in Marbled Green, and carries an MSRP of $3,330 with delivery slated for June 2026.
