Devinci introduces the E-Spartan Lite, a mid-powered, pedal-assisted enduro bike aimed at tackling rough terrains. This model features a Canadian-made 6061-T6 aluminum frame that is hand-welded and aligned for precision. The E-Spartan Lite is designed with a 165mm Split Pivot linkage, optimized for eMTB applications, offering more travel than its Spartan HP counterpart. It maintains a balance between a lighter overall weight and traditional engineering, ensuring an active suspension system. Equipped with 170mm RockShox Zeb forks and capable of using either air or coil shocks, it provides the versatility needed for intense biking experiences.
The E-Spartan Lite is available with a Canadian-made 6061-T6 Optimum G04 aluminum frame only. All frames are hand-welded and hand-aligned, then undergo final machining to ensure precise build quality.
Devinci decided to keep this bike lighter in weight and simpler overall; they would stick with the more traditional linkage while maintaining a pleasantly lively and poppy ride.
While it didn't get the high-pivot treatment, the E-Spartan Lite's 165mm Split Pivot linkage actually offers 5mm more travel than the Spartan HP, ensuring the suspension remains active through hard acceleration.
Devinci tunes their linkages so they will work well with either air or coil shocks, which is great, as the burly E-Spartan Lite could be a good candidate for a coil.
