Primož Roglič expressed uncertainty about his future in cycling and suggested that retirement may be approaching. He gave a noncommittal 'we'll see' when asked whether he will complete his contract through 2026, the year Remco Evenepoel joins Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe. Roglič acknowledged family priorities, saying he cannot be everywhere and that his wife and two children deserve his attention. He praised Evenepoel and noted team dynamics with Florian Lipowitz also present. Roglič completed the Tour de France without injury for the first time since 2020, finished eighth overall, and has not confirmed plans for late 2025 racing.

"Cycling is my job, but my family means everything to me. Above all, I'm a loving husband and father, and only then an athlete."
