Tao Geoghegan Hart returns for Tour of the Alps-Tour de Romandie double after Catalunya illness setback
Briefly

Tao Geoghegan Hart of Lidl-Trek is making his racing comeback at the Tour of the Alps after an illness hindered his performance at the Volta a Catalunya. He managed only one stage before taking a week off training, leading to an unexpected participation in the Alps. Geoghegan Hart expressed gratitude for this opportunity to regain competitive form ahead of future races. Although the Tour of the Alps serves as a preparation for many for the Giro d'Italia, he is currently focusing on the Tour de Romandie and a potential return to the Tour de France.
It's not a big change now, I was originally hoping to do Liège, so it's just about finding the right racing block after missing Catalunya.
We decided after Catalunya, where I missed a key block of racing, that once I was healthy...to try to have a bit more racing and another stage race.
