Standert Erdgeschoss Updates Stainless Steel Adventure Gravel Bike with Sliding UDH Drops
"Standert's stainless steel Erdgeschoss gravel bike was already ready for any adventure with big tire clearance, stable geo, all the mounts, dynamo routing, and sliding dropouts - all made from rust-proof material you'll never have to worry about. But now it adds future-proof to the mix, with a new set of UDH-equipped sliding dropouts, and a wider T47 bottom bracket..."
"The popular, flexible, and sometimes elusive Standert Erdgeschoss adventure and bikepacking gravel bike is back. And now, with a smart sliding UDH dropout update. You get all the worry-free mixed-surface capabilities of the long-running stainless steel bike, now able to fit all the latest drivetrains without giving up the future-proof, alt-drivetrain compatibility, and trailside singlespeed repair potential of those sliding dropouts."
The Erdgeschoss is a stainless steel gravel bike with large tire clearance, stable geometry, abundant mounts, dynamo routing, and sliding dropouts. Standert updated the rear end with UDH-equipped sliding dropouts and a wider T47 bottom bracket to accommodate modern drivetrains. The sliding dropout system remains modular, allowing alloy dropout inserts to enable traditional derailleurs, internally geared hubs, or a singlespeed setup. Sliding dropouts can also allow swapping axle standards and brake mounts when configured correctly, preserving serviceability and adaptability. The UDH change required extra clearance between the frame and slider to fit SRAM Transmission derailleurs' larger contact area.
