The cycling industry is witnessing an intense competition among leading brands, focusing on advanced groupset technologies. Shimano introduces its wireless XTR groupset, while Campagnolo features a 2×13-speed drivetrain. In response, SRAM enhances its offerings with refreshed Force AXS and Rival AXS groupsets for road and gravel cycling. Both groupsets provide high-end performance with 12-speed options for road and 13-speed for gravel, while mirroring features of the SRAM RED groupset. The Force AXS offers improved ergonomics and braking, presenting a significant upgrade over previous models without the premium price tag.
With nearly identical braking, shifting, and wireless functionality, without the top-tier price, SRAM is bringing much of that same tech and feel to the Force and Rival levels.
The updated and reinvented SRAM Force is, with all intents and purposes, the updated SRAM RED. This new version of the SRAM Force AXS group is as close to a copy of the updated SRAM RED as you can get.
