Simon Pellaud uses runner-up form from Unbound 200 for victory at Festivus of Gravel in Canada
Briefly

Simon Pellaud of Tudor Pro Cycling claimed victory at the Festivus of Gravel, marking his third win in his inaugural gravel season. Pellaud previously secured second place at Unbound Gravel 200, highlighting his competitive edge as he aims to excel in gravel racing. He remarked on wanting to shift from a defensive race strategy to taking charge at the front, contrasting his past experiences in other races to enhance his performance. Following this, he's preparing for several key upcoming events, including a major road race with the Swiss national team.
I really wanted to be at the front and not in the same position I was in The Traka one month ago. That's always been my way of racing on the road already. I'm here to show my qualities and abilities and to make the show, to make the public enjoy cycling, and also have fun myself.
First I have to get a mountain bike. It's a lot of preparation until Leadville. I still have big objectives.
