Roam Fest Rides into the Sunset After This Year's Event
Briefly

Roam Fest is concluding after its ten-year run, with its final event taking place in Fruita, Colorado from September 19-21. Founded by Ash and Andi Zolton in 2016, the festival aimed to create an inclusive space for women, genderqueer, and non-traditional riders to connect through mountain biking. The festival features guided rides, workshops, films, and social events. Both founders are experienced in the biking community, and their decision to end Roam Fest comes after much reflection about celebrating the community while moving on to new adventures.
"This is not a decision we made lightly," said Ash Zolton. "But after deep reflection, we believe it's the right time to celebrate the Roam community as we shift to our next adventure."
"Our team, partners, and community have gone above and beyond to bring this vision to life," Andi added. "Every trail ridden, every dance party danced, and every friendship formed made Roam what it is—a place where people show up exactly as they are."
