Ridley Goes E-Gravel with TQ-HPR40 Equipped E-ASTR
Briefly

Ridley has introduced the E-ASTR gravel race bike, enhancing the ASTR model with the TQ-HPR40 drive system. This e-bike combines the aerodynamic frame and racy geometry of its predecessor while offering a natural riding experience with assistance of up to 40 Nm torque and 200 watts peak power. The carbon frame maintains a similar silhouette to the traditional ASTR, accommodating wide tires up to 52 mm for modern gravel trends. Sharing geometry with the ASTR and ASTR RS, the E-ASTR comes in five sizes for rider compatibility.
The E-ASTR maintains the sporty, natural ride character of its predecessor - with that little bit extra, all without compromising smoothness or control.
With light assist of up to 40 Nm of torque and 200 watts of peak power, the E-ASTR aims to provide a very natural ride experience, with just a little boost when you need it.
Based on the non-electric version of the ASTR, the carbon-framed E-ASTR has a nearly identical silhouette with a claimed tire clearance of up to 52 mm.
Ridley tells us the E version of the ASTR shares the exact same geometry as the ASTR and ASTR RS.
