"Phil Gaimon's latest sponsorship YouTube video just dropped, and in it is a pretty big announcement about bikes. New for Phil for 2026 is a sponsorship from State Bicycle Co. And while the brand has a nice Carbon All Road model, they don't have a high-end carbon aero road bike. Well, not yet anyway. In the video and on Instagram, Phil leaks what seems to be the new State Carbon Aero Road bike."
"This model seems to be a dedicated road bike with aero features like integrated cables, a one-piece stem/bar option, and an aero seat post, without an astronomical price tag. According to Phil, State will have a complete version available for under $4k. That build probably won't be under 14lbs, but this can apparently be built as low as 13.5 lbs or even lighter."
State Bicycle Co. appears set to introduce a carbon aero road bike for 2026. The model includes integrated cables, an optional one-piece stem/bar, and an aero seat post designed for aerodynamic performance. The complete build is expected to be priced under $4,000, targeting affordability compared with high-end aero road models. A stock complete build will likely weigh above 14 pounds, while lighter builds or specific configurations can reach approximately 13.5 pounds or less. The bike complements the brand's existing Carbon All Road model by adding a dedicated carbon aero road option.
