Although under contract until 2026, rumors of negotiations with teams like Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe and Ineos Grenadiers are persistently surfacing, with reports suggesting that discussions are 70-80% complete. Soudal-QuickStep's CEO insists Evenepoel will remain with the team for at least another year, while former team boss Patrick Lefevere raised concerns about a potential legal battle if a transfer were to happen, given the substantial buy-out clause in Evenepoel's contract.
