"Nua Bikes is a Barcelona-based frame manufacturer specializing in custom-made titanium bikes. If titanium wasn't unique enough for you, they also ditched traditional drivetrains for geared hubs, gearboxes, and belt drives. One of Nua's more popular offerings, the Silice gravel bike, recently had some work done. While not a complete facelift, the updates to the Silice provide a more modern touch on tire clearance, improve ride feel, and provide more options for the rider."
"First on the list of updates for the Nua Silice gravel bike is more tire clearance. Nua reworked the frame to fit 50mm tires, providing a more confident riding experience over technical terrain. This 50mm clearance, however, is for Silice frames without mudguards. For riders who want or need to run fenders, Nua recommends a max tire width of 45mm (this, of course, may depend on the mudguards you choose)."

Nua reworked the Silice gravel frame to fit 50mm tires for frames without mudguards and recommends a maximum 45mm tire when running fenders. New iterations of the Silice use an oversized T47 threaded bottom bracket to reduce creaks, increase stiffness, and allow larger, more durable bearings that are easier to service. The larger bottom bracket improves cornering confidence and power transfer on technical climbs. Nua continues to offer its standard geometry and also provides fully customized geometry options across its lineup.
