The women’s race began first, with first-year Pro Alyana Van Horn posting the fastest seeding time. The Logar sisters, Ostgaard and Rønnning, and defending champion Kailey Skelton aimed to improve on seeding. In the men’s race, Gwin returned to the start gate to defend his 2025 win. Suetos, Silva, Dooley, and Kitchen sought a top result to lead the series overall, while Dakota Norton and Mikey Delesalle sat among the top five in seeding. Round 3 is scheduled for Solitude Mountain Resort in Utah from July 17 to 19.
