Lazer Partners with Cardo Systems for VeloVox Helmet Strap Audio System
"The longtime helmet manufacturer Lazer has developed a better way to enjoy music, podcasts, and stay connected with other riders in the peloton or on the trail - the Lazer VeloVox. The hands-free communication and audio device is designed with cyclists in mind, connecting up to 30 riders. Essentially, they're like mini Bluetooth speakers for each ear. Don't be "That Guy," Use the Lazer VeloVox Instead We've all come across "that guy.""
"You're pedaling up some singletrack, enjoying a peaceful time in the woods, when you start hearing the familiar sound of a dubstep beat. The noise gets louder and louder, until you finally pass the source - "that guy" playing his music through a Bluetooth speaker for all to enjoy. Or perhaps you're trying to squeeze by a slower cyclist ahead of you, calling out your presence so as not to startle them."
"Lazer's VeloVox saves you from being "that guy" on your next ride while still allowing you to enjoy a podcast or your favorite dubstep banger. VeloVox clips directly to the ear straps on either side of a helmet, delivering crisp audio with advanced wind and noise cancellation. However, the open-ear concept allows riders to still engage with the world around them."
Lazer developed the VeloVox, a hands-free audio and communication device for cyclists that connects up to 30 riders. The system mounts directly to helmet ear straps and uses open-ear drivers to deliver clear sound while preserving ambient awareness. Advanced wind and noise cancellation improves audio quality without isolating the rider. The slim, discreet modules fit most half-shell helmets and do not interfere with eyewear. Each unit features a two-button interface: the left button handles group communication and the right button controls music, audio, and call control. The VeloVox replaces loud external speakers and hazardous earbuds with a safer, social riding option.
