In a thrilling finish at the Flèche Wallonne Femmes, Puck Pieterse from Fenix-Deceuninck claimed victory by launching a decisive attack just 150 meters from the finish on the Mur de Huy. Demi Vollering of FDJ-Suez attempted to counter, but Pieterse built a gap to take the win. Elisa Longo Borghini finished strong to take third place, narrowly beating off Kasia Niewiadoma-Phinney. Earlier in the race, Cédrine Kerbaol led a breakaway but was caught with less than 7km to go, setting up the lead-up to the final climb.
