Dan McLay is set to depart from Visma-Lease a Bike at the end of the year after one season. At 33 years old, he achieved ten wins and was primarily brought in as a lead-out man for Olav Kooij. Previously, McClay had a brief stint with Arkéa and EF Education First before returning. He is currently competing in the Tour de Pologne and remains open to new team opportunities, as Visma seeks a pure sprinter for the following season.
I think Visma is off the cards, they want a big, pure bunch sprinter for next year, so that rules that out.
I'm not signed up yet, so if anyone wants me for the next year or two, I'm still going.
My current condition is reasonable-to-good, with Pologne my first race since the Copenhagen Sprint in late June.
I had a nice training camp in the summer, so I'm looking forward to getting back into it.
