The elite men's route will take in three-and-a-half local laps before taking on the final 18km stretch to Maastricht for a total of 181km. Varied terrain of pavement, dirt roads and tracks will be used, including the packed gravel path into Maastricht known as De Groene Loper (Green Carpet)."
The UCI Gravel World Championships take place October 11-12 in the Netherlands on a course from Beek and Beekdaelen to Maastricht, incorporating roads used in Amstel Gold Race.
