"Red Bull Rampage is a completely unique mountain biking event. Riders and their crews spend days handcrafting insane lines filled with drops, gaps, and enormous, sketchy descents that drop around 1,000 feet over the entire course. After several days of work, riders have 4 days to practice and refine their lines before the final event. Riders get two runs during the event finals to send the cleanest and most exciting run possible."
"The big news for last year is the inclusion of a women's event, which takes place on Thursday. However, this year's Rampage will feature 12 female riders rather than eight - and they'll compete at a completely different venue from the men. The men will take their runs on Saturday. While a race down some of the most jaw-dropping, hand-sculpted gravity lines ever constructed may seem a bit frightening, riders and their dedicated diggers hope for fortunate days to reach a coveted podium spot."
Red Bull Rampage 2025 includes a women's event with 12 riders competing at a separate venue on Thursday while the men's finals occur on Saturday. Riders and crews handcraft gravity lines featuring drops, gaps, and sketchy descents that can fall around 1,000 feet, with diggers shaping courses using shovels and pickaxes in the lead-up. After construction, riders have four days to practice, then finalists receive two runs to produce the cleanest and most exciting descent possible. Judges score on a 1–100 scale, evaluating line difficulty, tricks and style, fluidity and control, and air time, and some prior top finishers earned automatic entry though a few are sitting out due to injuries.
