Granite Design's Crust Tire Covers cost $40 per pair and fit wheels from 24″ to 29″ with tires up to 3″ wide. The covers slip over the tire and secure with Velcro straps around the rim, allowing installation without removing the wheel. The washable material contains water, mud, and dirt to prevent contamination of car interiors and indoor storage. The covers are built to withstand repeated exposure to grime for long service life. Alternative covers like the Blivet Tindr target fat, studded tires and protect against sharp studs but cost more.
