Giant Completely Rebuilds the Anthem Advanced SL for 2026
"When your bike already has a World Championship under its belt, before it's even been released to the public... you know you're on the right path. That's the all-new 2026 Giant Anthem Advanced SL. Giant went all in on the new Anthem; it's lighter, sharper, stiffer, and already kicking butt internationally. This is the update the Giant Anthem deserved: a modern, purebred XC race bike."
"The new Anthem Advanced SL is built around Giant's lightest full-suspension frame ever-just 1,530 g (size M), roughly 90 g lighter than the outgoing model. Giant says the new chassis delivers 7-8 % more pedaling stiffness. This comes thanks to an all-new layup and the updated Advanced SL composite construction. At its core is the next-gen FlexPoint Pro suspension system that was hinted at Eurobike earlier this year: a one-piece carbon swingarm and single-pivot layout that delivers 120 mm of rear travel, paired with a 120 mm fork."
Giant redesigned the Anthem with its lightest full-suspension Advanced SL frame at approximately 1,530 g (size M), about 90 g lighter than the previous model. The chassis increases pedaling stiffness by 7–8% through a new layup and updated composite construction. The FlexPoint Pro system uses a one-piece carbon swingarm and single-pivot layout to provide 120 mm of rear travel paired with a 120 mm fork, reducing weight and pivots while maintaining precision. Riders can switch a flip-chip between High and Low geometry settings for tight XC circuits or more aggressive descents and marathons. The bike also features WideGuard 30 mm internal carbon rims, tubeless-ready Giant tires, updated cable routing, and improved chainstay protection for quieter, easier service.
