The 2025 women's Tour of Britain will take place in early June across northern England and the Scottish Borders, emphasizing the growth of women's cycling. Starting June 5 in Yorkshire and concluding in Glasgow, the race will feature scenic locations like Dalby Forest and the North York Moors. Notable riders, including world champion Lotte Kopecky and high-paid Demi Vollering, are expected to participate. The event's success is bolstered by increasing investment and interest in women's sports, which is projected to generate significant revenue this year.
The continued growth of women's cycling is reflected by both the unprecedented status of Vollering, as a Nike ambassador and the highest earner in the women's peloton, and steady growth in rider salaries.
We have first visits for the race to Dalby Forest and the North York Moors national park, from where we will race through North Yorkshire and into the Tees Valley.
