The Ergolace 2 introduces a revamped platform supporting both clip-in and flat pedals, along with speed-lacing and increased stiffness. It offers lightweight upper options with or without Gore-Tex waterproofing and claims weight reduction. The design replaces an asymmetric tongue with a sock-like bootie made from perforated Airprene to reduce layering and promote a more even fit. The waterproof model uses the Gore-Tex Invisible Fit membrane, intended to minimize impact on fit and flexibility.
