First Look: Inside the US-Made Steel Full-Suspension MTB Prototype
"Stinner Frameworks is most well-known for its world-class steel and titanium drop bar bikes, but the team also ventures into the dirtier side of cycling and offers a hardtail mountain bike, known as the Tunnel. But what they don't offer is a longer travel full-suspension mountain bike, and as I wandered into the halls of the MADE Bike Show, I damn near broke my neck whipping my head around to gaze upon a full-suspension mountain bike sitting at their booth."
"Touting a steel front triangle, an alloy 3VO suspension linkage with configurable dropouts, this prototype full-suspension bike looks like a fascinating progression for the Stinner brand. I had the opportunity to chat with some of the top brass at Stinner Frameworks to discuss inspiration, ethos, and goals for this new project. The bike on display was Aaron Stinner's personal bike, the CEO and Founder of Stinner Frameworks."
Stinner Frameworks, renowned for steel and titanium drop-bar bikes, also offers the Tunnel hardtail and is developing a longer-travel full-suspension mountain bike. A prototype enduro/trail bike with a steel front triangle, an alloy 3VO suspension linkage, and configurable dropouts was displayed at the MADE Bike Show. The prototype is Aaron Stinner's personal bike, sized for a tall rider, with several features intended for production models. Recent domestic Select and Podium lines aim to deliver handmade frames and complete bikes at accessible prices. The company aims to apply its ethos of bespoke quality and affordability to the full-suspension project.
