Fara Gr4 Gravel Bike Goes Fast & Light Racing on Wide Tires & Wild Split Cockpit
Briefly

Fara Cycling's fourth-generation Gr4 is a carbon gravel bike engineered to combine racing performance with exploration capability. The frame weight drops below 1 kilogram after losing 200g, with an additional 300g reduction across the frame kit. Tire clearance increases to accept up to 57mm rubber and room for 2.2" mountain bike tires. The bike includes internal frame storage and a twin-spar modular two-piece cockpit that offers 10mm of reach adjustment, four bar sizes with width-specific flare, improved ergonomics, and tidy cable integration. The design aims to serve fast gravel racing, everyday riding, and fully loaded bikepacking.
For their fourth generation of adventure-ready mixed-surface dropbar bikes, Norwegian bike company Fara Cycling have created the Gr4 - a versatile & capable gravel bike that's happy to be a light & fast race bike or fully loaded down to go bikepacking off-the-beaten track deep in the backcountry. While Fara's first bikes leaned more in the all-road/fast gravel touring direction, their dedicated F/GR gravel bike already had big-for-the-time 50mm tire clearance four years ago.
"We didn't want to force riders to choose between a bike that's built for racing and one that's built for exploration, with the Gr4, we worked with our athletes and designers to create something that excels at both. A lightweight, responsive frame with huge tire clearance and refined ergonomics make it perfect for modern gravel racing, exploration and everyday riding alike." - Jeff Webb, Fara Cycling
