e*thirteen Flux MTB Wheelset Families Build On Sidekick 2.0 Anti-Kickback Hubs

e*thirteen released Flux MTB wheels designed to work with Sidekick 2.0 anti-kickback hubs. The wheels are offered in carbon and aluminum and target a range of riding styles from lighter trail to downhill. A concave rim shape replaces a traditional profile to add vertical compliance, improve traction, reduce deflection, and absorb trail chatter. Testing shows a 33% increase in angular deflection compliance and a 19% increase in vertical deflection compliance. The rims use a 30mm inner width, with front and rear versions tuned for compliance and durability. Different carbon layouts and rim thicknesses create rim-specific behavior, with alloy differences tied to joint construction. Multiple wheel categories are offered, including Optimus for lighter trail and Sylvan for longer trail and all-mountain use.
