Darkfest returns in 2026 to celebrate a decade of freeride mountain biking, dirt, danger, and firsts. The event will take place at the Hellsend Dirt Compound on Vuurberg Wine Farm in Stellenbosch. Organizers designed the 10th anniversary course to be the most challenging ever, featuring 110-foot gaps and massive step-ups. The world's best freeriders, including legends, newcomers, and wildcards, will session the course throughout the week seeking ideal conditions to land historic tricks.
