Woolley Fest is a new freeride event conceived by Talus Turk and Ryan McNulty, scheduled for August 30, 2025, at The Lookout near Clear Lake. The event has been in development for over a year, starting with a test gathering in August 2024 that included ten riders. Talus Turk's recognition in the freeride circuit, particularly after achieving fifth place at the 2023 RedBull Rampage, has inspired him to establish this event to promote progression and community in the sport, especially since similar events have not occurred in North America for several years.
"The Fest Series events have done so much for me, introducing me to riders around the world and truly big jumps—they're just the best environment for progression," Talus said.
"These young rippers decided to do something about it after not seeing a Fest Series event stateside for six or seven years."
"Bellingham, WA's Talus Turk and Bend, OR's Ryan McNulty—the first official gathering takes place August 30, 2025, at The Lookout, a private property with a few Shire Built trails above Clear Lake in Sedro Woolley."
"Woolley Fest has been well over a year in the making, beginning to feel real with a test event in August of 2024, gathering ten riders and co-conspirators."
