Aventon, a Southern California eBike brand, introduces the Current EXP full-suspension electric mountain bike as its second eMTB offering alongside the Ramblas. The bike features a carbon front triangle with aluminum rear triangle construction and is priced at $6,000 for the top-tier model. Key specifications include the new UltroX motor with 110Nm and 120Nm power modes plus BOOST, SRAM Maven Base brakes, RockShox suspension components, a touchscreen integrated display, and SRAM S1000 transmission. The bike weighs 52 lbs and comes equipped with 29-inch wheels, Maxxis DHF/DHR tires, and an X-Fusion dropper seatpost. Aventon designed the UltroX motor in-house, including its software. The Current EXP operates as Class 1 but is convertible to Class 3.
