Symphony San Jose will close its 2025-26 season with Symphonic World Cup performances in Downtown San Jose at the California Theatre. The concerts are scheduled for June 6 at 7:30pm and June 7 at 2:30pm. Carlos Vieu will conduct Carl Nielsen’s Helios Overture, which evokes the ancient Danish myth of the sun god. Katherine Siochi will perform as harp soloist in Alberto Ginastera’s Harp Concerto, showcasing the harp’s dramatic range through an Argentine musical lens.
