An Interview with Forensis | Berlin Art Link
Briefly

'The Drum and The Bird' is a multimedia performance that tackles Germany's colonial legacy in Namibia, presenting its narrative through music and technology. Created by musician Bill Kouligas and the nonprofit Forensis, it will debut at The Hague's Rewire Festival. Featuring insights from artists Mark Mushiva and Tobechukwu Onwukeme, the project combines post-colonial studies with innovative tech to explore and raise awareness of historical injustices, especially in light of recent Namibian independence remembrances.
"I was really impressed by the project combining a post-colonial treatment of Namibia's history, using 3D and gaming engines to create a new historical basis for the genocide."
"The immersive performance reflects on Germany’s concealed colonial legacy in Namibia, heightening the relevance as we commemorate Namibian independence."
